Doral Academy will face Palo Verde in the region championship, following Palo Verde’s own victory over Green Valley, which ended with a score of 3-1. In the Class 3A Southern League semifinals, Equipo Academy secured a 2-1 victory over Boulder City, thanks to their resilient performance. The Pirates’ final score of 20-25, 27-25, 25-21, 25-14 sends them into the region title game against The Meadows.
The Meadows, the second seed, continued their strong performance by defeating Boulder City in straight sets, securing their place in the championship match.
