URGENT UPDATE: The Wellington Kiwanis Club has just announced that its much-anticipated annual Pancake Day will return on February 6, 2024, at the Wellington Eagles Hall located at 631 S. Main St. This beloved community event promises to serve up delicious meals of pancakes, sausage, and drinks from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. and again from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
This year, the cost for adults aged 9 and older is just $7, while children 8 and under can enjoy the meal for only $4. Attendees can also opt for take-out service, making it easier than ever to enjoy these hearty meals. Note that there will be no presale tickets, but those interested can arrange to purchase tickets by emailing [email protected].
The proceeds from Pancake Day not only support the Wellington Kiwanis’ vital service leadership programs—including the Wellington High School Key Club, McCormick Middle School’s Builders Club, and Westwood Elementary School’s K-Kids—but they also fund the club’s scholarship program. Additionally, funds raised contribute to the installation of playground equipment in the community, ensuring a lasting impact on local families and children.
Join your neighbors for this delicious event that not only satisfies your appetite but also supports essential community initiatives. With the clock ticking down to February 6, mark your calendars and get ready to indulge in a morning or evening of pancakes for a cause!
Stay tuned for more updates as the event date approaches, and don’t forget to share this news with friends and family. The Wellington Kiwanis Club looks forward to serving you and making a difference in our community!
