URGENT UPDATE: Solano County Transit (SolTrans) has just announced crucial changes to its holiday service schedules, impacting riders during the festive season. As the holidays approach, passengers are strongly urged to plan ahead and check schedules immediately.

Christmas Day on December 25 and New Year’s Day on January 1 will see NO service for SolTrans Local, Solano Express, and Paratransit services. On Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, which fall on December 24 and December 31, services will operate on a Saturday schedule. This means local school tripper routes, including 15, 17, 38 and the Solano Express Green Line and Route 82, will not be available.

Riders should note that starting on January 4, SolTrans will implement minor adjustments to select Local and Solano Express routes. In a significant policy change, onboard paper transfers will be discontinued. Instead, passengers are encouraged to utilize the Clipper card for all transfer discounts.

As we approach the year’s end, Beth Kranda, Executive Director of SolTrans, expressed gratitude to the community. “As we wrap up another year of service, I want to sincerely thank our riders for choosing SolTrans and for being such an important part of our community,” Kranda stated in a recent news release. “We are deeply grateful for your patience, feedback, and continued trust as we complete our Comprehensive Operational Analysis (COA), an important, rider-driven effort that is shaping a systemwide redesign focused on more reliable, efficient, and accessible service.”
