UPDATE: The highly anticipated horror film, The Conjuring: Last Rites, will be available for digital purchase and rental starting tomorrow, October 7, 2023, at 12 a.m. Eastern Time. This marks the fourth installment in the Conjuring franchise, featuring beloved characters Ed and Lorraine Warren, portrayed by Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga.

Fans of the franchise can expect to buy or rent the film on platforms such as Amazon Prime, Apple TV, and Fandango at Home, with prices set at $24.99 to buy and $19.99 to rent. Renting allows viewers 48 hours of access post-rental. Notably, this installment serves as a direct sequel to The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It and is promoted as the final chapter in the Conjuring saga.

This latest film has already made waves at the box office, raking in over $458 million globally, solidifying its status as the highest-grossing film in the series. Directed by Michael Chaves, it promises to deliver one last thrilling ride as the Warrens tackle a life-altering supernatural case.

For those not keen on the premium digital price tag, HBO Max subscribers can anticipate the film debuting on the streaming service later this year. While an exact date has not been confirmed, trends from previous releases suggest it could be available by late November 2023. Notably, Final Destination: Bloodlines, another New Line/WB film, followed a similar timeline.

In addition to the digital release, The Conjuring: Last Rites will also be launched on 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD on November 25, 2023, complete with special features including behind-the-scenes content and featurettes like “Last Rites: An Era Ends.”

As excitement builds, horror fans are encouraged to mark their calendars for this immediate release. In the meantime, you can catch up on the terrifying Conjuring universe by purchasing or renting the movie online starting tomorrow.
