URGENT UPDATE: StepStone Family and Youth Services of Georgia has just launched its annual “Wrapped in Love” blanket drive, running from February 2 to February 13, 2026. With the need for comfort and security among foster children at an all-time high, this initiative is critical for providing warmth to those most in need.
The drive is set to include multiple drop-off locations across the state, with three locations in Tifton to facilitate donations. Residents can donate blankets at the following sites:
– Absolute Beauty Salon, 801 Prince Ave.
– St. Paul Baptist Church, 45 Branch Road
– 105 W. Second St.
This important initiative, which began in 2020, directly addresses the challenges faced by foster youth who often lack personal belongings that make them feel at home.
