URGENT UPDATE: The Women of Colors nonprofit is set to host its Annual Warm A Child For Winter Drive-Thru Coat Giveaway this Saturday, November 15, from 9 a.m. to noon at Kempton Elementary School in Saginaw, MI. This essential event aims to provide local children with much-needed winter necessities, and families are encouraged to participate!
Due to ongoing construction, traffic patterns will be modified. Vehicles must enter from Weiss Street and proceed to Blackmore Street to access the giveaway area. This year, the event will operate exclusively as a drive-thru, ensuring a safe and efficient distribution of new and gently used coats and winter accessories.
Parents are reminded that children must be present inside vehicles to receive donations. Additionally, completed registration forms are required for participation. These forms can be accessed on the Women of Colors Facebook page and their official website at womenofcolors.org.
