
A fire in Fairfield has left one individual with life-threatening injuries following an incident that occurred shortly after midnight on March 16, 2024. The blaze broke out in the backyard of a residence located between Burbank Court and Kolob Drive, prompting a swift response from local firefighters.
Firefighters from the Fairfield Fire Department arrived to find a large detached structure engulfed in flames, with the fire rapidly spreading to nearby fences and a tree line on an adjacent property. As crews conducted fire suppression efforts, they discovered an injured civilian within the structure. The FFD personnel promptly removed the individual and initiated emergency medical care.
The victim was subsequently transported by ambulance to a local trauma center for treatment. Currently, there is no available information regarding the individual’s condition.

Firefighters also reported that embers from the burning cypress trees were carried downwind, posing a risk to neighboring homes. Upon inspection, they confirmed that no additional fires had ignited in the area.
