neighbors-demand-action-as-van-nuys-man-blasts-train-horns-daily

URGENT UPDATE: Residents in the 6600 block of Peach Street in Van Nuys, Los Angeles are fed up as a local man, Gary Boyadzhian, admits to blasting train horns and home alarms almost every day. The alarming situation has persisted for months, disrupting the peace in this typically quiet neighborhood.

Boyadzhian, 50 years old, openly acknowledges his actions, stating, “I know it’s not fair to my neighbors, absolutely.” He claims the deafening noise is his way of getting attention from the LAPD’s Van Nuys division. “I need help. I don’t know how else to cry out for it,” he said, emphasizing the urgency behind his daily disturbances.

Neighbors report that the horns can be heard for several minutes, causing their windows to rattle. One anonymous resident expressed frustration, stating, “He does it and then he stops. By the time (the police) get out here 40 minutes later, they can’t do anything.”

Residents have taken to posting signs urging others to report the noise. However, according to them, officers have indicated they need to hear the horns themselves to take action against Boyadzhian.

The LAPD’s Van Nuys division commented, “We are in talks with the city attorney about options, as well as using other department resources to assist.” Meanwhile, Imelda Padilla, the city councilmember for the area, stated her office has not received formal complaints regarding the ongoing disturbances.

As the situation escalates, neighbors are left wondering how long they will be subjected to this daily disruption. With no clear resolution in sight, community members are calling for immediate action to restore peace in their neighborhood.
