Ortega is survived by his daughters, Charmaine Morales (Armando) and Helani Ortega Godinez (Danny), as well as his son, Michael Ortega. His legacy includes 15 grandchildren: Valerie (Jason), Veronica (Michael), Victoria (Vance), AJ, Leah, Dominique, Natalie (Milton), Maili, Solomon (Latavia), Melanie (Christopher), Mikey Jr., Lauren, Noah, DJ, and Leinani. Additionally, he leaves behind 13 great-grandchildren: Joseph, Justin, Preston, Ruby, Santino, Samuel, Helani-Eileen, Jason, Charity-Reign, Jack, Jireh, Alina, and Shila.
