UPDATE: The Gifting Forward Foundation kicks off its highly anticipated second annual 12 Days of Gifting campaign today, awarding $1,000 daily to twelve vital nonprofit organizations across the region. This year, the campaign expands its reach to include nonprofits serving Atwood and Wichita, enhancing support for local communities amid growing needs.
Launched just in time for the holiday season, this initiative reflects the Foundation’s commitment to organizations facing challenges from recent government funding disruptions. The campaign is especially relevant as nonprofits strive to meet increasing demands due to the ongoing effects of the government shutdown.
With a heartwarming mission, the Gifting Forward Foundation was founded in 2020 during the pandemic to empower local communities. It has since amassed over $500,000 in assets and pledged more than $10 million to support critical community needs.
As part of the 12 Days of Gifting, each day leading up to Christmas Eve will spotlight a different nonprofit recipient. The organizations receiving support this year include:
