The villages and the towns and the architecture — everything you see is charming. In an emotional twist, DeGeneres noted that she and de Rossi might consider remarrying in the UK due to increasing concerns over LGBTQ+ rights in the United States. “The Baptist Church in America is trying to reverse gay marriage,” she explained. “Portia and I are already looking into it, and if they do that, we’re going to get married here.” DeGeneres emphasized the need for a more accepting society, wishing for a world where “everybody could accept other people and their differences.”
