According to the Brentwood Police Department, the situation escalated as juveniles entered various stores, causing damage by knocking goods off shelves and running into traffic on Sand Creek Road. At one point during the incident, officers confronted a vehicle suspected of being associated with the disturbance. They drew their weapons after receiving reports that the driver might be armed. Fortunately, no weapons were discovered, and no individuals were taken into custody in relation to this specific encounter.

Of the five juveniles arrested, four faced misdemeanor charges, while one was charged with battery against a peace officer. In a statement released on social media, the police emphasized their commitment to maintaining public safety, stating, “We will not tolerate this kind of behavior in our city.
