Zotac has launched its new lineup of GeForce GTX 1070 Ti graphics cards, introducing three distinct models: the Zotac GeForce GTX 1070 Ti Mini, GTX 1070 Ti AMP Edition, and GTX 1070 Ti AMP Extreme. These models maintain a similar aesthetic and design as their predecessors, but feature significant enhancements in performance specifications.
The GTX 1070 Ti series utilizes the same GP104 chip found in earlier models. However, it boasts an increased number of CUDA cores compared to the GTX 1070, while being just slightly lower than the GTX 1080. The Founders Edition of the GTX 1070 Ti is set at a suggested retail price of $449 and will be available starting November 2, 2017. Zotac’s versions are expected to follow soon, though exact pricing for these models has yet to be confirmed.
Advanced Features and Design
The new GeForce GTX 1070 Ti series is built on the NVIDIA Pascal architecture, which aims to deliver superior gaming performance. The flagship model, the GTX 1070 Ti AMP Extreme, features dual blade EKO fans and a robust IceStorm cooling system. This includes dynamically sized copper heat pipes and an extensive aluminum heatsink array to effectively manage thermal performance.
Additionally, the AMP Extreme model is equipped with SPECTRA lighting, allowing users to customize lighting effects across three independent zones. The design is not only functional but also aesthetically appealing, thanks to a Carbon EXOARMOR that includes a front metal shroud and a stylish metal wraparound backplate for enhanced durability.
The GTX 1070 Ti AMP Edition offers a more compact option, featuring a slimmer dual-slot and dual-fan configuration. This model maintains the high performance expected from the GTX 1070 Ti while fitting into a more streamlined design.
The GTX 1070 Ti Mini stands out with its compact size of just 211mm (8.3 inches). It is among the smallest graphics cards in this series and is designed to fit in approximately 99% of system builds. The Mini model features an offset 90mm and 100mm fan setup to optimize airflow and keep operating temperatures low, ensuring it delivers the same performance as its larger counterparts.
Enhanced Performance Capabilities
One of the notable advancements in the GTX 1070 Ti series is the new One Click OC button, which is available through the latest version of the Firestorm utility. This feature allows users to enhance performance from the standard settings to overclocked levels with just a single click, simplifying the process of maximizing gaming capabilities.
Zotac’s latest offerings in the GeForce GTX 1070 Ti series not only promise improved gaming performance but also cater to a wide range of users from casual gamers to dedicated enthusiasts. As the release date approaches, the gaming community eagerly anticipates the impact of these new graphics cards on the market.
With a strong emphasis on both performance and design, the GeForce GTX 1070 Ti lineup is poised to attract attention in the competitive graphics card landscape.
