The exterior of Sofia is clad in a combination of spruce and engineered wood, utilizing the traditional Japanese technique known as Shou Sugi Ban to enhance durability and weather resistance. Inside, the home offers a choice of spruce or plywood siding, complemented by laminate flooring that adds warmth and character to the space.
Upon entering, residents are greeted by a compact kitchen at the center of the open layout. This kitchen is equipped with essential appliances, including a microwave oven, either an induction or gas cooktop, and a small refrigerator, all designed to maximize functionality while occupying minimal space. A wood-burning stove provides sufficient heating, while a mini-split air conditioning system ensures comfort in warmer weather.
The multifunctional bedroom area not only serves as a sleeping space but also features integrated storage solutions and convertible furniture. A dining table with bench seating can be pulled out to create an inviting living and dining area, accommodating both owners and guests.
