Lenovo revealed a comprehensive lineup of new products during the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2025, showcasing advancements in personal computing and artificial intelligence. The announcement included a range of laptops, desktop computers, accessories, and a novel personal AI system, marking a significant push towards enhancing user experiences across devices.

Flagship Laptops and Unique Features

Among the standout products are the new ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 14 Aura Edition and ThinkPad X1 2-in-1 Gen 11. These flagship laptops incorporate a groundbreaking Space Frame design that optimizes component placement on both sides of the motherboard. This innovation not only enhances cooling but also facilitates easier repairs with replaceable parts, including USB ports and batteries. Both models are powered by Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors and feature a 10 MP webcam with a wide 110-degree field of view.

Another highlight is the ThinkPad X9 15p Aura, which builds on last year’s model. It boasts the latest Intel Core Ultra X9 Series 3 processors, supports up to 64 GB of RAM, and includes a full-size SD card reader. The laptop features a 15.3-inch 2.8K OLED display with a variable refresh rate of 120 Hz, HDR1000 True Black certification, and an impressive peak brightness of 1,100 nits. Notably, it also includes Lenovo’s largest haptic touchpad to date.

The ThinkBook Plus Gen 7 Auto Twist, previously a concept, is now a commercial product. This laptop features a motorized dual-rotation hinge that adjusts the display based on user posture and mode. It is equipped with Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors and a 14-inch 2.8K OLED display.

Desktop Solutions and Emerging Technologies

Lenovo’s desktop offerings also received attention with the introduction of the ThinkCentre X AIO Aura Edition and the ThinkCentre X Tower. Both desktops feature Copilot+ PC capabilities and are powered by Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors, highlighting Lenovo’s commitment to integrating advanced technology into their desktop solutions.

In terms of innovations, Lenovo presented several proofs of concept, including the ThinkPad Rollable XD Concept and the Legion Pro Rollable Concept. These devices showcase advanced display technologies, with the Legion Pro featuring a horizontally rolling display.

One of the most intriguing announcements was the introduction of Lenovo Qira, described as a “personal AI super agent.” This system aims to enhance daily interactions, allowing users to seamlessly transition between devices like PCs, tablets, and smartphones. Set to launch in select Lenovo and Motorola products in 2026, Qira will integrate with various partners, including Expedia Group, to provide users with relevant information and facilitate smooth transitions to services when needed.

Lenovo also unveiled a series of new accessories designed to enhance the user experience in 2026. These include the ThinkPad Dual-Mode Wireless ANC Foldable Headset 8550 and the ThinkPad Bluetooth Presenter Mouse, among others.

The gaming segment saw the introduction of the Legion Go, now powered by SteamOS instead of Windows 11. This version features an AMD Ryzen Z2 Extreme processor and supports up to 2 TB of PCIe SSD storage, providing gamers with significant performance capabilities.

New gaming laptops such as the Legion 7a and Lenovo LOQ 15AHP11 were also announced, featuring either AMD Ryzen AI 200 or 400 Series processors or Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors, catering to a wide array of gaming preferences.

Lenovo’s Yoga Pro 9i Aura Edition, with its redesigned chassis, supports up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop GPU and includes a high-resolution display. The company also introduced a range of Yoga accessories, further expanding its ecosystem.

The announcements at CES 2025 demonstrate Lenovo’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of technology while enhancing user experience through innovative designs and intelligent systems. As the company prepares for the future, it is clear that Lenovo aims to provide users with not only powerful devices but also seamless connectivity and integration across all platforms.
