New reports indicate that Google’s anticipated hardware releases for 2025, including the Pixel 10 Pro Fold and Pixel Watch 4, may be delayed by two to three months. While the company is set to unveil the details of its Pixel 10 lineup later this month, supply chain issues are reportedly affecting the launch schedule of these devices.

According to the German IT publication WinFuture, reliable sources suggest that production delays have arisen due to complications within Google’s supply chain. While the standard non-foldable Pixel 10 phones are expected to launch on time following their reveal on August 20, 2025, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, Pixel Buds 2a, and Pixel Watch 4 might not be available until as late as October.

Several factors may contribute to these delays. Notably, the Pixel Watch 4 is undergoing significant changes, including a transition to a new side-oriented charging system. Although this model will not feature wireless charging, the modifications likely necessitated new hardware. Similarly, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold is rumored to be the first of Google’s foldable devices to support Qi2 charging and achieve an IP68 certification, which may also require additional hardware adjustments.

In addition to these developments, the upcoming Pixel Fold is expected to showcase a redesigned display and hinge, differing from previous models. However, the reasons behind the delays for the Pixel Buds 2a remain unclear, as the sources did not specify any particular production issues for this device.

While anticipation for the new Pixel 10 lineup continues to build, these potential delays may dampen excitement among consumers. Confirmation of these reports is expected soon, as Google prepares for its official announcement. Notably, prices for the Pixel 10 have already surfaced online, further fueling speculation surrounding the launch.

As the technology landscape evolves, the implications of these delays may extend beyond just product availability. Consumers and industry analysts alike will be closely monitoring how these developments affect Google’s market position and consumer interest in its latest offerings.
