The Utah State Aggies football program is set to enhance its roster for the 2026 season as the early signing period begins. On Wednesday, the team expects to secure commitments from over a dozen high school football players. This influx of talent marks a significant step in the Aggies’ efforts to build a competitive squad for the upcoming season.

Among the standout recruits is Preston McDaniel, a 6-foot-4, 215-pound tight end from Thunder Ridge High in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Rated as a three-star recruit by 247 Sports, McDaniel is known for his impressive athleticism and receiving skills. Another notable addition is Easton Hammond, a 6-foot-3, 270-pound offensive lineman from Ridgeline High in Millville, Utah, who is poised to bolster the Aggies’ offensive front.

In the quarterback position, the Aggies have secured Brady Goodman, measuring 6-foot-4 and 205 pounds, from Mountain View High in Mesa, Arizona. Goodman’s strong arm and leadership are expected to be pivotal for the team’s offensive strategy. Additionally, Tripp Palmer, a 6-foot-4, 185-pound wide receiver from San Juan High in Blanding, Utah, adds depth and height to the receiving corps.

The Aggies also welcome Matekitonga Havea, a 6-foot-6, 300-pound offensive tackle from Lehi High in Utah, who has already garnered attention for his impressive blocking skills. Dontae Dyson, a 6-foot-1, 175-pound cornerback from Northridge High in Layton, Utah, will enhance the team’s defensive capabilities.

Another promising recruit is Lucas Neidig, a 6-foot-7, 245-pound offensive tackle from Bingham High in South Jordan, Utah. Neidig, who also competes in basketball, has shown versatility and athleticism, making him a valuable asset for the Aggies. Viliami Tapa’atoutai, a 6-foot-2, 225-pound edge rusher from Woods Cross High, rounds out the defensive lineup. Tapa’atoutai has been recognized as the No. 24 overall prospect from Utah and had notable performance statistics during his senior season.

Adding to the running back rotation, Jackson Regan, a 5-foot-10, 200-pound athlete from Canyon High in New Braunfels, Texas, has made a name for himself as a strong rusher. Despite limited playing time due to injury, he led his team with 607 rushing yards and five touchdowns in just seven games. Regan was rated the No. 157 running back prospect nationally by 247 Sports.

The defensive line will be strengthened by Curtis Bell, a 6-foot-3, 300-pound lineman from Episcopal High in Alexandria, Virginia. Bell, who committed to Utah State in the summer, is ranked as the No. 54 talent from Virginia. His presence is expected to significantly impact the Aggies’ defensive front.

Finally, Cade McCall, a 6-foot, 175-pound wide receiver from Katy High in Texas, adds speed and agility to the roster. McCall has received offers from other schools and is known for his contributions in both football and track and field.

As the signing period unfolds, Utah State fans can look forward to live updates on the commitments and developments within this exciting recruiting class. The Aggies are clearly making strategic moves to enhance their program and position themselves for success in the coming seasons.
