The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) has finalized agreements with SportsNet New York (SNY) and New England Sports Network (NESN) to broadcast a total of 18 men’s and women’s basketball games during the 2025-26 season. This partnership will prominently feature both Siena College basketball teams, with the women’s team competing against Fairfield on January 19, 2026, and the men’s team hosting Marist College at MVP Arena on January 22, 2026.

SNY, which reaches approximately nine million households in New York, Connecticut, New Jersey, and Northeastern Pennsylvania, is set to provide a significant platform for these games. “These partnerships give MAAC basketball an unprecedented level of exposure across the biggest media markets in the country,” stated MAAC Commissioner Travis Tellitocci.

With the combined reach of SNY and NESN, the MAAC will ensure that its games are accessible to more than 13 million households across the Northeast. Tellitocci expressed enthusiasm for the expanded visibility, emphasizing that this exposure will benefit student-athletes and their programs significantly.

As part of the MAAC’s multi-year agreement with ESPN, all televised games will also be available for live streaming on ESPN+. This feature will allow fans to watch the games nationwide without any digital blackouts through the ESPN app.

SNY is known for its Emmy Award-winning regional sports content and provides comprehensive coverage of various New York sports teams, including the New York Mets and New York Jets. The network’s approach includes exclusive live games, nightly sports programs, and original content, solidifying its position as a leader in local sports coverage.

These television agreements mark a significant milestone for MAAC basketball, enhancing its visibility and accessibility in an increasingly competitive sports landscape. As the season approaches, fans can look forward to watching their favorite teams compete on regional television, supporting their local athletes and institutions.
