Impressive Performances from the Girls Team

Senior MaryAnn Hill finished 29th, clocking in at 23:35.00, while senior Sarai Garcia placed 40th with a time of 24:49.30.
The Mustangs will next compete at the Class 4A Region 4 race on October 12, held at Monfort Park in Greeley. The team aims to secure a spot among the top four teams or the top 15 individual runners to qualify for the state championships.
The Fort Morgan boys soccer team, on the other hand, faced challenges in recent weeks. After a promising streak of four wins and one draw from September 16 to October 7, the Mustangs have since suffered two losses, falling to Weld Central 2-0 and Frontier Academy 3-1. Currently, the team holds a record of 5-5-1 for the season, placing them at No. 42 in the Colorado High School Activities Association’s Selection & Seeding Index, just ten spots shy of qualifying for the postseason.
As both the cross country and soccer seasons progress, Fort Morgan’s athletes remain focused on improving their performances and achieving their goals in the coming competitions.
