The 2025 6A All-State football team, announced by the Deseret News, highlights standout players across the state. Leading the selections is Helaman Casuga from Corner Canyon, named Mr. Football for an impressive season. He amassed 4,300 passing yards, recorded 53 touchdowns, and maintained only four interceptions throughout his career, culminating in a total of 10,900 passing yards. His performance has set a high standard for future players in the league.

Additionally, Weston Briggs, also from Corner Canyon, earned the title of 6A Player of the Year after achieving 1,228 receiving yards on 83 catches, along with 16 touchdowns and contributing defensively with 71 tackles and seven interceptions. These remarkable statistics underline the competitive nature of the league and the caliber of its players.

First Team All-State Selections

The 6A First Team features a formidable roster of athletes. At quarterback, Casuga led the way, followed by running backs Weston Briggs and Devaughn Eka from Lehi, who recorded 1,038 rushing yards and 17 total touchdowns.

Wide receivers on the first team include Kai Meza, who totaled 1,074 receiving yards and 12 touchdowns, alongside Jaron Pula and Malik Sika, who both had standout seasons with multiple touchdowns and receptions.

On the offensive line, Esun Tafa and Bott Mulitalo were key players, contributing to their teams’ protection and run game. Tafa, a USC signee, was noted for his exceptional ability to protect his quarterback’s blindside.

Defensively, the first team showcases talents such as Jayden Pearce from Corner Canyon, who recorded 64 tackles and 10 sacks, and Griffin Kunz from Skyridge, who achieved 102 tackles and 12.5 tackles for loss.

Second Team and Honorable Mentions

The 6A Second Team also highlights impressive athletes, including quarterback Jaxon Hunt from Mountain Ridge and running back Dyson Parker, who exhibited strong performances throughout the season. Their contributions were vital to their teams’ overall success.

Honorable mentions include players such as Kaneal Sweetwyne and Bosten Fountaine, both of whom had notable seasons that contributed to their teams’ playoff aspirations.
