Ella Thompson from Camas had an exceptional match, recording 11 kills, six digs, and three aces as Camas defeated West Linn (Oregon) with a score of 3-0. Similarly, Aiyanna Curtis of Heritage made her mark with 12 blocks, alongside eight kills, as her team triumphed over Hockinson 3-1.
In a narrow encounter, Grace Whalen helped Union secure a 3-0 victory against Woodland with 15 assists and six kills. Meanwhile, Maddie Cooley from Washougal contributed significantly to her team’s win over Stevenson, delivering 15 assists and three aces in another 3-0 match.
Highlighting the action in slowpitch softball, Dylan Yates of Skyview enjoyed a stellar performance, going 2 for 2 at the plate, which included a double, a home run, and a remarkable five RBIs in a decisive 15-1 victory against Mark Morris.
In boys golf, Jack Flynn from Columbia River made headlines by shooting an even-par 36 at Mint Valley, leading the Rapids to a win over Mark Morris, with a team score of 153-171.
