President Donald Trump publicly supported Attorney General Pam Bondi on Saturday, defending her performance in light of backlash from certain factions within his base regarding the release of a memo about accused sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein. Trump took to Truth Social, proclaiming that Bondi is doing a “FANTASTIC JOB” in her role.

In his post, Trump expressed concern over his supporters’ criticism, saying, “What’s going on with my ‘boys’ and, in some cases, ‘gals?’ They’re all going after Attorney General Pam Bondi, who is doing a FANTASTIC JOB!” He emphasized unity among his supporters by stating, “We’re on one Team, MAGA, and I don’t like what’s happening.”

The memo, which was released earlier this week, concluded that there is no evidence Epstein maintained a “client list” or was murdered. This revelation generated significant backlash from some allies of Trump. Notably, right-wing activist Laura Loomer called for Bondi’s removal from her position.

According to a report by CNN, Deputy FBI Director Dan Bongino has indicated he might resign due to escalating tensions between the FBI and the Department of Justice following the memo’s release. Trump, when questioned about the investigation into Epstein and the memo, dismissed the inquiries, saying, “I can’t believe you’re asking a question on Epstein at a time like this.”

In his social media post on Saturday, Trump reiterated his frustration with the ongoing focus on Epstein, stating, “For years, it’s Epstein, over and over again.” He directed criticism towards several political adversaries, including former President Barack Obama and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, while suggesting they were responsible for “creating the Epstein Files.”

Trump questioned why the political left had not released any damaging information about him related to Epstein, stating, “Why didn’t these Radical Left Lunatics release the Epstein Files? If there was ANYTHING in there that could have hurt the MAGA Movement, why didn’t they use it?”

Additionally, Trump called on FBI Director Kash Patel to prioritize investigations into issues he deems more significant, such as alleged voter fraud and political corruption. He urged, “Kash Patel, and the FBI, must be focused on investigating Voter Fraud, Political Corruption, ActBlue, The Rigged and Stolen Election of 2020… instead of spending month after month looking at nothing but the same old, Radical Left inspired Documents on Jeffrey Epstein.”

In closing, Trump emphasized his support for Bondi, stating, “LET PAM BONDI DO HER JOB — SHE’S GREAT!” He dismissed Epstein as “somebody that nobody cares about,” reinforcing his view that the focus should shift away from the controversy surrounding the convicted sex offender.

This incident highlights the ongoing tensions within the MAGA movement and the challenges Trump faces in maintaining unity among his supporters during contentious political discussions.
