Monique Morisset, a cherished mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on September 24, 2025, at the age of 89. Her family and friends remember her as a pillar of strength and love, leaving behind a legacy that will resonate through generations.
A funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at the New Zion Baptist Church. Members of the community are invited to pay their respects during a viewing that will begin at 9:00 a.m. The service will be followed by interment at Williamsburg Memorial Park.
In addition to the funeral service, a wake will take place on Friday, October 3, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Whitings Funeral Home. This gathering will provide an opportunity for family and friends to share memories and celebrate Monique’s life together.
