The Wyoming Valley Women’s Club is set to host a fashion show and scholarship fundraiser on **October 26, 2023**. This event will take place at the **Holiday Inn, Wilkes-Barre East Mountain**, and aims to support the club’s Annual High School Scholarship Award.
Doors for the fashion show will open at **12:30 p.m.**, with lunch served at **1:00 p.m.** Attendees can enjoy a delightful meal while witnessing a showcase of styles provided by local boutiques. Pre-admission tickets are priced at **$30**, which includes both the luncheon and the fashion show.
In addition to the fashion show, attendees will have the opportunity to purchase tickets for prize baskets, generously donated by area businesses and members of the Wyoming Valley Women’s Club. Participants will find contributions from local boutiques such as **Buka**, **My Sister’s Closet**, **Rumor Has It**, and **Women’s Boutique**, who will provide outfits and accessories for the models.
The lineup of models includes notable members of the community: **Gayle Delano Slezak**, who also serves as the model and fashion coordinator; **Colleen Mattey**; **Cathy Beretski**; and **Kathleen Handley**. Their participation adds a personal touch to the event, showcasing local talent and community spirit.
