Ronald A. “Skip” Bogert, Jr., a resident of Kempton, passed away on January 16, 2026, at the age of 61 at Lehigh Valley Hospital. He is survived by his wife, Brenda S. (Mengel) Bogert, with whom he shared 33 years of marriage.

Born on February 10, 1964, in Allentown, Pennsylvania, Skip was the son of Ronald A. Bogert, Sr. and the late Linda (Foster) Bogert. He proudly served his country in the Army, showcasing a commitment to service that remained a part of his character throughout his life.

Professional Journey and Personal Interests

Throughout his career, Bogert was known as a dedicated entrepreneur and industrial electrician, collaborating with various companies and contributing significantly to his field. His passion for work was matched only by his love for the outdoors. An avid fisherman, he spent many hours enjoying nature, which he often considered an essential aspect of his life.

In addition to his outdoor pursuits, Skip was a devoted football fan, with a particular affection for the Raiders. His enthusiasm for the game resonated with family and friends, as he often gathered to watch games and share in the excitement.

Skip leaves behind a close-knit family, including his sons, Kyle Bogert and his wife Jessica, Tyler Bogert, and Cody Bogert. He also cherished his role as a grandfather to three grandchildren: Jordyn, Blake, and Eladie. His siblings, Lori Tighe, Cheryl Wendt (wife of Chris Wendt), and Joel Bogert, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews, also survive him.

A private service will be held at the convenience of the family, with arrangements managed by Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., in Emmaus. A celebration of life is planned for a later date, and details will be shared with family and friends.
