Murphy is also remembered as a loving brother to Robert E. Murphy Jr. and is preceded in death by his parents, Robert E. Murphy Sr. and Grace D. Murphy, along with siblings Mallory A. A memorial service to honor Murphy’s life will take place on October 18, 2025, at 1 p.m. at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, located at 1421 Goodyear Blvd, Picayune, Mississippi. Relatives and friends are invited to attend, celebrating the life of a man who touched many hearts.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Murphy’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, The Wounded Warrior Project, or The Tunnel to Towers Foundation. These contributions reflect his caring spirit and commitment to helping others.
