Joan graduated from Mt. Carmel School and went on to marry Anthony Benedict Sr., with whom she shared 59 years of marriage. Together, they raised two sons, Anthony Benedict Jr. and Marc Benedict, fostering a loving home that emphasized the values of compassion and support.
