Her dedication to medicine continued as she completed her residency at the University of Pennsylvania, establishing a career characterized by intelligence, compassion, and a deep commitment to her patients.

Celebrating a Life Filled with Passion

Pat was not only a distinguished physician but also a woman of varied interests. She had a passion for cooking, often using her culinary skills to bring friends and family together. Her love of gardening and floral arranging led her to pursue classes that further enhanced her appreciation for nature’s beauty.

A devoted reader, Pat often found solace and joy in the pages of her books. Her gentle heart extended to animals, with her cats, Toby and Russo, providing her with companionship and affection throughout her life. Above all, her greatest joy was her daughter, Dana Sisson, who she considered not only her child but also her best friend.

Faith played a significant role in Pat’s life. As an active member of Trinity Episcopal Church, she formed enduring friendships and found a sense of community and purpose. Her faith was a cornerstone that helped shape her values and the way she interacted with the world.

Patricia is survived by her husband, Dr. R. Steven Sisson, her daughter Dana, a nephew, Jeff Huber, and her cherished cats. She was preceded in death by her two brothers, Rick and Ed Huber.
