
Tracey Leahy
Precision Medicine Group (PMG) has appointed Tracey Leahy as its new Chief People Officer (CPO), effective immediately. The announcement, made on September 16, 2025, positions Leahy to oversee all aspects of the company’s human resources functions, aligning workforce strategies with PMG’s business objectives.
In her new role, Leahy will be responsible for crucial areas such as talent acquisition, management, total rewards, learning and development, and HR operations. Margaret Keegan, CEO of PMG, emphasized the importance of the company’s workforce, stating, “Our most precious asset is our people—a global team of experts… who are passionate about supporting life science companies in their efforts to develop and launch transformative medicines.” Keegan highlighted Leahy’s leadership capabilities, expressing confidence that she will effectively guide the strategy for employee retention and talent attraction.

Tracey Leahy’s Background and Experience
Leahy brings over 25 years of experience in human resources and organizational development across various sectors, including private and publicly funded healthcare organizations. Prior to her appointment at PMG, she served as the Chief Human Resources Officer at Vonage, a division of the Ericsson group. In this capacity, she restructured the People team to better align with organizational goals, implementing robust talent management and workforce planning systems.
Before her time at Vonage, she held a significant role at Rocket Software, where she integrated teams from 15 acquisitions and focused on employee experience and leadership development. Her previous positions include Global Senior Director of Human Resources at PAREXEL International and Associate Director of HR and Organizational Development for the UK’s National Health Service.
Leahy is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and is actively involved with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC). She holds qualifications from both the Dearne Valley Business School and the University of Bedfordshire in the UK.
