Ann Marie Mancini, a beloved resident of Exeter, passed away on January 1, 2026, at Allied Hospice in Wilkes-Barre after a prolonged battle with cancer. She was 77 years old. Born in Kingston, she was the daughter of the late Philp and Josephine Pepe Dente, and a proud graduate of Exeter High School.

Ann Marie was deeply involved in her community and was a dedicated member of Corpus Christi Parish (St. Anthony of Padua) Church in Exeter. She was not only a devoted parishioner but also an entrepreneur, co-owning and operating Touch of Eyelet in Luzerne. Her passion for her work was evident in her love for floral arrangements, gifts, crafts, and ceramics.

Legacy of Love and Caring

Known for her warmth and generosity, Ann Marie cherished time spent with family and friends. She had a particular talent for cooking and baking, with her cookies being a favorite among loved ones. Ann Marie’s ability to nurture those around her extended beyond her culinary skills; she was a caregiver at heart, always prioritizing the needs of others.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Mancini, who passed away in 2012, and her brother, Philip Dente, who died in 2023. Ann Marie is survived by her son, Louis Mancini Jr., her sister Doretta Burgess and her husband Brian, as well as several nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral Arrangements

A Blessing service is scheduled for Wednesday morning at 10:00 AM at Howell-Lussi Funeral Home Inc., located at 509 Wyoming Avenue, West Pittston. Prior to the service, a viewing will take place at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Interment will be private at the West Pittston Cemetery.
