MSNBC will host its second annual live community event, titled MSNBCLIVE ’25: This is Who We Are, in Manhattan on October 11, 2025. This event seeks to engage viewers through a live broadcast that expands on the network’s coverage. Set to take place at the Hammerstein Ballroom, the day-long gathering is a follow-up to last year’s inaugural event, which attracted approximately 4,000 attendees in Brooklyn.
The event will feature a lineup of prominent MSNBC hosts, including Rachel Maddow, Jen Psaki, and Joe Scarborough. Attendees can expect a mix of live panels, discussions, and interviews that aim to foster community engagement. Luke Russert, Host and Creative Director of MSNBC Live, expressed enthusiasm about the gathering, stating, “If there’s one thing we learned last year, it’s that there’s an undeniable electricity and connection that fills the air when the MSNBC community comes together in one room.”
Event Highlights and Schedule
The MSNBCLIVE ’25 event will unfold in four segments. The morning session will feature discussions with Chris Hayes, Nicolle Wallace, Joe Scarborough, and Mika Brzezinski, among others. Following this, a limited-seating Capstone Lunch will include a conversation on women’s empowerment featuring Wallace and Brzezinski, along with a discussion led by Jacob Soboroff and correspondent Katie Tur.
The evening program will showcase Maddow, Lawrence O’Donnell, and Ari Melber, along with Stephanie Ruhle. This session will culminate in a dinner featuring Maddow, Psaki, and Ruhle, providing a unique opportunity for attendees to engage with their favorite journalists.
Building on Previous Success
According to Lauren Peikoff, Executive Producer of MSNBC Live, the network is eager to build on last year’s success. “After an incredible first year, we are so excited to bring the very best of MSNBC back live and in person with our most loyal viewers,” she said in a recent news release. This year’s event aims to deepen audience connections with hosts and explore new engagement strategies.
The inaugural event, held in September 2024, focused on the 2024 presidential election and its implications. As MSNBC navigates recent changes within its network, the upcoming live show will introduce several new faces to its audience.
Tickets for MSNBCLIVE ’25 start at $100 and are available for purchase online. With a program designed to inspire and connect, MSNBC hopes to create a memorable experience for its viewers and community.
