Legendary rocker Jim Messina is set to perform at Rams Head On Stage in Annapolis on November 25, 2023. He will be joined by his new band, The Road Runners, as they showcase music from their latest live album, “Here, There and Everywhere.” The concert is scheduled to begin at 20:00.
Messina’s new album features a diverse collection of genres, including folk, country, rock, and Latin influences from various stages of his illustrious career. He is widely recognized for his role as the bass guitarist in the influential 1960s band Buffalo Springfield, which was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Following the band’s disbandment in 1968, Messina co-founded the groundbreaking country rock group Poco.
In 1971, he teamed up with the then-unknown Kenny Loggins, forming the highly successful duo Loggins & Messina. Over their eight-year collaboration, they released eight albums and sold more than 16 million records, featuring hits like “Danny’s Song” and “Your Mama Don’t Dance.”
Tickets for the concert range from $71 to $96, including fees. Attendees can expect an engaging evening filled with a mix of classic hits and new material that highlights Messina’s dynamic musical journey.
For those interested in attending, tickets are available through the Rams Head On Stage website.
