Clipse has announced four additional dates for their European tour, following the successful release of their latest album, Let God Sort Em Out, which debuted on October 27, 2023. The new shows will take place in Tilburg, Paris, London, and Manchester from November 5 to November 10 of this year. Tickets for the shows in London, Manchester, and Tilburg are currently available, while tickets for the Paris concert are expected to be released soon.
The reunion album marks the duo’s first release since 2009‘s Til the Casket Drops. Pusha T and Malice, the creative forces behind Clipse, originally shared plans for the tour in June. The North American segment of the tour began on August 3 at the Roadrunner in Boston and has included stops in major cities like Philadelphia, New York, Miami, and Los Angeles.
Album Features Collaborations with Big Names
The album Let God Sort Em Out features notable collaborations with artists such as Kendrick Lamar, Nas, John Legend, and Tyler the Creator. Each of the album’s thirteen tracks was produced by Pharrell, adding to the project’s high-profile appeal. In a recent interview with Complex, Pusha T discussed the creative process and how collaborations, particularly with Tyler, were formed.
“Tyler was in and out through the process of creating the album,” Pusha T explained. He highlighted Tyler’s enthusiasm for the project, stating, “He was always calling me, asking to hear certain records or saying, ‘let me hear it.'” This collaborative spirit contributed to the album’s vibrant sound and diversity.
Following the album’s release, Clipse also launched a music video for their track “Chains & Whips,” featuring Kendrick Lamar. This visual representation further showcases the dynamic partnership between the artists and emphasizes the album’s impact.
Looking Ahead
With the addition of the European dates, Clipse aims to reach a wider audience and capitalize on the momentum generated by Let God Sort Em Out. The tour’s expansion signifies the duo’s commitment to engaging with fans across the globe, reinforcing their legacy in the hip-hop industry.
As anticipation builds for the upcoming shows, Clipse continues to explore innovative ways to connect with their audience, including sharing revenue with content creators who cover their work. This approach reflects a modern understanding of the music industry and highlights the duo’s forward-thinking philosophy.
