Bravo is set to launch a new spinoff series titled The Real Housewives: Ultimate Road Trip in 2026, coinciding with the 20th anniversary of the iconic The Real Housewives franchise. The announcement came from Andy Cohen during the “Ask Andy” panel at BravoCon 2025, reflecting the show’s evolution and honoring its legacy.

The series promises a cross-country journey featuring beloved Housewives from previous seasons, visiting significant locations that have defined the franchise over the years. While the exact release date is yet to be confirmed, the trip will commence in Orange County, the birthplace of the original series, and conclude on the East Coast. The journey will include several memorable stops along the way, showcasing the charm and drama that has captivated audiences for two decades.

In a statement on November 16, Frances Berwick, Chairman of Bravo and Peacock Unscripted, highlighted the cultural significance of the franchise. “For two decades, The Real Housewives has amplified women’s voices, spotlighted their ambition, humor, and strength, inspiring millions with their unapologetic authenticity,” Berwick remarked. She described the new series as “a love letter to the women who turned a reality television show into a cultural phenomenon — and the fans who’ve been there for every laugh, gasp, toast, and table turn.”

The announcement of Ultimate Road Trip follows the success of prior spinoffs, such as The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip, which premiered in November 2021. The first season featured stars including Cynthia Bailey and Teresa Giudice as they vacationed in Turks and Caicos. Subsequent seasons continued to explore new dynamics among former Housewives, with Season 2 taking place at Dorinda Medley‘s Blue Stone Manor in Massachusetts and Season 3 heading to Thailand.

The fourth season, which debuted in December 2023, included alumni from The Real Housewives of New York City on a trip to Saint Barthélemy. There have been speculations surrounding the production of a season 5, initially intended for the Ultimate Girls Trip, but changes occurred after a reported incident involving Caroline Manzo and Brandi Glanville during filming in Morocco.

In a January 2024 lawsuit, Manzo alleged that Bravo and its production companies encouraged excessive drinking among cast members, leading to situations that compromised their safety. Glanville faced accusations of inappropriate behavior towards Manzo, which her legal team strongly disputed, stating that Glanville followed production guidance and did not engage in sexual assault.

In response to the lawsuit, producer Lisa Shannon asserted that Manzo did not express feelings of violation, rather feeling “disrespected” by Glanville’s actions. Shannon emphasized the production’s commitment to ensuring the safety and comfort of cast members during filming.

As for the future of The Real Housewives of New York City, no specific details emerged from BravoCon 2025. However, Cohen indicated that fans could expect updates soon, sparking anticipation for the next chapter in this enduring franchise.
