The highly anticipated fourth and final season of the drama series “Bel-Air” will premiere on Peacock on November 24, 2024. This season marks the conclusion of the series, which reimagines the iconic sitcom “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.” The decision to end the series was announced in December 2023.

In the upcoming season, viewers will see Will navigating the excitement of his senior year while managing the pressures that come with it. The official description indicates that Carlton will face significant consequences from recent choices that could impact his future. The two cousins are set to support one another through these transformative moments in their lives.

Phil and Geoffrey will experience a power shift that threatens their brotherly bond, testing their loyalties to the Banks family. Meanwhile, Viv will confront her evolving identity as she reassesses motherhood. The season will also follow Ashley as she embarks on her freshman year of high school, navigating a rebellious phase while realizing the limitations of the status quo. Hilary will engage in a personal journey of self-discovery throughout the season.

The cast features talented actors including Jabari Banks as Will, Adrian Holmes as Phillip Banks, Cassandra Freeman as Vivian Banks, Olly Sholotan as Carlton Banks, Coco Jones as Hilary Banks, Akira Akbar as Ashley Banks, Jimmy Akingbola as Geoffrey, Jordan L. Jones as Jazz, and Simone Joy Jones as Lisa. Several actors, including Coco Jones, Akira Akbar, Jordan L. Jones, and Simone Joy Jones, will appear as recurring guest stars.

This reimagined series originated from a viral video by Morgan Cooper, who envisioned the classic sitcom as a dramatic narrative. The showrunner and executive producer, Carla Banks Waddles, is joined by Cooper as an executive producer and director. The executive production team also includes notable figures such as Will Smith, Terence Carter, James Lassiter, Miguel Melendez, Benny Medina, Quincy Jones, and Andy & Susan Borowitz. Co-executive producers include David Boorstein, Des Moran, Shukree Tilghman, and Felicia Pride, with episodes directed by Nick Copus, Keesha Sharp, Tina Mabry, and Cooper.

Produced by Universal Television and Westbrook Studios, a media company founded by Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith, “Bel-Air” presents a modern take on themes of family, identity, and personal growth, promising an engaging conclusion to its narrative arc as the series approaches its final bow.
