Shaping the Future of Global Logistics
During the opening ceremony, Leon Li, Chief Operating Officer of JCtrans, delivered a keynote address that emphasized the growing value of the Middle Eastern logistics market. Currently estimated at $27.8 billion, Li projected that this figure could reach $39.2 billion within five years, representing a compound annual growth rate of 7.1%. He reiterated JCtrans’s mission of helping global freight forwarding companies achieve sustained profitability, aiming to establish the platform as “the most trustworthy international logistics trading platform.”
Li’s remarks underscored JCtrans’s commitment to integrity and global partnerships, as the organization strives to foster a connected and prosperous logistics ecosystem.
Insights and Innovations from Industry Leaders
The conference featured an engaging presentation segment where JCtrans senior executives shared valuable insights on key topics. Crystal Zheng, Senior Vice President of JCtrans Membership and Event, revealed that the organization now serves over 11,000 paid members across 179 countries, boasting an impressive annual renewal rate of 86%. The platform’s AI-powered inquiry system facilitates more than 2.2 million business matches annually, enhancing the connectivity among members.
Zuocai Wei, Senior Specialist of Cooperation Risk Protection, introduced an upgraded risk management system that has proven effective in safeguarding members. In the past year, JCtrans helped avoid over 2,200 potential risks, resolved 84% of disputes, and recovered approximately $185 million in claims. Tools such as real-time Risk Alerts and Credit Assurance Orders were highlighted as critical components of ensuring safer cross-border transactions.
To address payment challenges faced by the freight forwarding industry, JCtrans launched JC Pay, a settlement solution offering real-time transactions with zero fees. Yorick Zhu, Vice President of Membership, stated that JC Pay has facilitated over $400 million in annual settlements, significantly reducing members’ banking fees.
Additionally, JCtrans plans to introduce JC Verified, a certification service aimed at building trust and promoting high-quality collaboration across borders. Reservations for the upcoming 2025 Shanghai Conference are open, and planning is underway for the 2026 Thailand Conference.
As part of its outreach, JCtrans will also participate in the India International Cargo Show, the largest logistics exhibition in the country. Enhancements to the platform, including booth reservations, exclusive training sessions, and improved digital storefronts, are designed to help members connect more effectively with potential clients.
At the heart of the conference were the one-on-one business meetings, which facilitated direct communication among participants. These face-to-face interactions allowed numerous companies to establish initial cooperation agreements, setting the stage for future business expansion. JCtrans’s intelligent matching mechanism significantly improved the efficiency and success rate of these engagements.
Networking events, including a welcome cocktail reception and a gala dinner, provided opportunities for attendees to strengthen relationships and foster trust. Such gatherings are crucial for promoting deeper long-term cooperation among global participants.
The success of the JCtrans Dubai Conference highlights the organization’s leadership in the logistics sector and its dedication to building a collaborative and borderless logistics community. As preparations continue for upcoming events, JCtrans remains focused on working with its members to enhance the flow of global trade.
