Kathleen H. Greene, aged 78, passed away on August 11, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Her death marks the end of a cherished life filled with devotion to family and community.
Born to William and Isabel Harleston, Kathleen was a pillar of strength for her loved ones. She was preceded in death by her husband, James “Jimmy” Greene, and is survived by her daughter, Martha Bjers (John), and her grandchildren, James “Jamie” Richardson and Kathryn “Ryn” Bjers. Kathleen also leaves behind her siblings: Rita Curtis (Cres), Eleanor Harleston, William Harleston (Coral), and John Harleston (Kathleen).
Family and friends will have the opportunity to pay their respects at Hogg Funeral Home on August 15, 2025, from 18:00 to 19:00. Following this, a funeral service will be held at Bethany United Methodist Church on August 16, 2025, at 11:00. The service will be officiated by Pastor John Choi, with interment to follow in the church cemetery.
Kathleen’s legacy is one of love and resilience, a testament to the bonds she fostered throughout her life. Her family invites those who knew her to celebrate her memory during the upcoming services.
