URGENT UPDATE: Australian pop trio Blusher has just electrified fans with their debut performance on triple j’s iconic Like A Version segment, covering Kesha’s hit “Your Love Is My Drug.” The performance, which aired earlier today, showcases Blusher’s unique twist on the beloved track, blending shimmering harmonies with live instrumentation.
In a heartfelt tribute, the Melbourne-based group—comprised of Miranda Ward, Jade Ingvarson-Favretto, and Lauren Coutts—connected their roots to Kesha, stating their shared love for her music was instrumental in forming the band in 2021. Ingvarson-Favretto emphasized, “There’s something about the shameless love of pop music that Kesha has really just always been an advocate for. It’s kind of our guiding light.”
