This new project is based on a short story by Jaime Oliveira and is being produced by Chernin Entertainment. Paramount Pictures secured the rights through a competitive auction process, as reported by Variety.
The plot of ‘High Side’ revolves around a former MotoGP racer named Billy, who is lured back into a dangerous lifestyle after a career-ending accident. The story unfolds as Billy’s estranged brother, pursued by the FBI, persuades him to join a series of bank heists utilizing their motocross skills.
