Authorities in Lower Moreland Township, Pennsylvania, have arrested a 44-year-old man, Igor Dzhumaev, after he allegedly returned to a local bar armed with a machete and a nail gun. This incident occurred on the night of August 2, 2025, following an earlier disturbance that led to his removal from the premises.

Police were first summoned to the 2800 block of Philmont Avenue after reports of disorderly behavior. According to the Lower Moreland Township Police Department, witnesses stated that two individuals had been asked to leave the bar after becoming argumentative while under the influence of alcohol. By the time officers arrived, both individuals had departed the scene in a sport utility vehicle (SUV).

Later that evening, at around 23:03, authorities received a second call regarding a suspicious person returning to the bar. The caller reported that one of the previously removed individuals had allegedly returned, this time armed with a machete. Upon arrival, officers identified Dzhumaev, who was seen opening the trunk of a vehicle before approaching the establishment with what looked like a sword-like weapon in one hand and a nail gun in the other.

Dzhumaev was taken into custody at the scene, where he appeared to be intoxicated. He now faces multiple charges, including two counts of terroristic threats—one with intent to terrorize and another for causing serious public inconvenience. Additional charges include possession of a prohibited offensive weapon, disorderly conduct, harassment, and public drunkenness.

As legal proceedings move forward, it is important to note that Dzhumaev is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. The investigation into the incident is ongoing, and updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
