free-wood-chips-available-at-target-debris-site-starting-july-28

BREAKING: Beltrami County has just announced that free wood chips will be available at the Target Debris Site, located at 2115 23rd St. NW, starting on Monday, July 28. This initiative is set to run until August 8, providing residents with a much-needed resource for landscaping and gardening projects.

Wood chips will be distributed from 3 PM to 6 PM, Monday through Friday. An operator will be on site to assist with loading the wood chips into heavy-duty trailers and trucks. For those using smaller vehicles, a self-serve option will be available, making this a convenient opportunity for all residents.

To access the site, drivers should follow the Hannah Avenue detour leading to 23rd St. NW. Please note that tree debris is no longer accepted at the Target Debris Site. Instead, residents are directed to bring all tree debris to the Demolition Landfill at 2331 North Plantagenet Road SE. The landfill operates during regular hours, with extended hours on Saturdays from 9 AM to 4:30 PM. It remains closed on Sundays and Mondays.

This initiative not only supports the community by providing free resources but also encourages sustainable practices. With the availability of wood chips, residents can enhance their outdoor spaces while minimizing waste.

Stay tuned for more updates and make sure to take advantage of this opportunity while it lasts!
