Chinese automotive manufacturer BYD has introduced a new generation of megawatt chargers, significantly boosting the charging capacity for electric vehicles (EVs). These innovative T-shaped charging units can deliver power at speeds of up to 1,500 kilowatts, or 1.5 megawatts, marking a notable advancement from the previous maximum output of 1,360 kW. The rollout of this new charging technology is set to begin in China, with plans to expand into Europe in the near future.
