On February 15, 2026, Aspen will host an unprecedented event as the popular electronic music duo, The Chainsmokers, perform a free concert at a mountaintop venue. This concert, titled “High Tops – The Chainsmokers: Top of Aspen Mountain,” will take place at an elevation of 11,212 feet. The event is organized through a collaboration between Aspen One and Belly Up Aspen.
The performance is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. and tickets for general admission became available on February 10, 2026, with RSVPs opening at noon. Due to overwhelming demand, tickets sold out in less than an hour. For those seeking a premium experience, paid private cabins and reserved tables will also be offered.
“This is the first time Aspen has hosted a major, globally-recognized music act in a purpose-built concert setting at the very top of Aspen Mountain,” a spokesperson from Aspen One stated in an interview with The Aspen Times. The excitement surrounding this event reflects a significant milestone for the area, indicating a strong interest in such unique musical experiences.
A New Era for Live Music in Aspen
While Aspen has welcomed live music in various formats over the years, this concert introduces a novel scale and setting. The venue, accessible only via gondola, requires attendees to possess a valid ski or foot passenger pass. The event aims to deliver “a high-alpine on-mountain experience in a way that hasn’t been done here until now,” according to the spokesperson.
Entry will be strictly regulated, with a cap of approximately 2,000 registered guests, which includes both general admission attendees and invited guests. This limit is designed to ensure safety and enhance the overall experience for everyone present at the top of the mountain.
“This event reflects Aspen One’s continued evolution of the on-mountain and après experience through culture, music, and creative partnerships,” the spokesperson added. The collaboration with Belly Up Aspen is seen as a way to blend Aspen’s intimate, high-quality live music atmosphere with a fresh alpine format. They noted that The Chainsmokers bring a modern energy that aligns well with the essence of Aspen—elevated, contemporary, and deeply rooted in the local culture.
In addition to this special mountaintop concert, The Chainsmokers will perform ticketed shows at Belly Up Aspen on the nights of February 14 and 15, further enhancing the music scene in this picturesque ski resort.
As the anticipation builds for this landmark event, it signifies a new chapter in Aspen’s entertainment offerings, promising a unique experience for both locals and visitors alike.
