Mercedes-Benz is set to launch its highly anticipated 2027 S-Class on January 29, 2024, promising one of the most significant updates in the model’s history. Despite the industry’s shift towards electric vehicles, Källenius confirmed that Mercedes is not abandoning gas engines. He expressed his passion for performance, stating, “I love the V8,” and reaffirmed that the V12 engine will remain available for the foreseeable future.
