Known for his dedication to the automotive industry, Grube played a significant role in the College Hill neighborhood, where he operated several well-known businesses. His legacy includes a long-standing commitment to service and community involvement that will be remembered by many.
Born on June 25, 1943, Grube began his career working for his father at Grube’s Gulf. Later, he established his own enterprises, including Tom Grube’s Service Center and Grube’s Auto Sales. His entrepreneurial spirit and work ethic significantly contributed to the local economy and provided jobs for many in the area.
Beyond his professional achievements, Grube was an enthusiastic member of the National Ski Patrol, dedicating his weekends to skiing at Big Boulder. His love for the outdoors and commitment to safety reflected his character, as he actively engaged with the community in various capacities.
Grube leaves behind his wife, Raenelle; son, Jason; brother, Kevin, and his wife, Susan; along with his nieces, Amy and Tami. His family and friends remember him as a loving husband and father who touched the lives of many.
Services will be held at 12 PM on Friday at College Hill Presbyterian Church, located at 501 Brodhead St., Easton. There will be a visitation from 11 AM to 12 PM, allowing friends and family to pay their respects.
