URGENT UPDATE: The Red Bluff Rotary Club has just announced that Collin Fletcher, a junior at Red Bluff High School, is the latest Student of the Month for October 2023. This recognition highlights Fletcher’s exceptional academic performance and character, making him a standout among his peers.
Fletcher, who aspires to become a forensic pathologist/criminologist, was selected for his dedication to learning and his positive influence in the classroom. His interests span crime, science, and music, showcasing his diverse talents. According to Leandro Vasquez, a math teacher and leadership advisor at Red Bluff High, “Collin is a phenomenal student who is respectful, hardworking, and supportive of those around him.”
Vasquez emphasized Fletcher’s maturity, noting, “He knows how to advocate for himself when he needs help and does so in a thoughtful, responsible way.” This mature approach sets Fletcher apart, making him not just a model student academically, but also a genuinely kind individual who enhances the learning environment.
Another teacher, Taylor Richardson, praised Fletcher’s performance in her class, stating, “He is a great student as well as a person. He exemplifies what we strive for at Red Bluff High School.” Such endorsements illustrate the strong community support behind Fletcher’s achievements.
The recognition ceremony will be held on October 10, 2023, at the Red Bluff Elks Lodge. Students selected for this honor are invited to lunch, where they will receive a framed certificate and a $100 check from the Rotary Club.
