India-based wrestling promotion WXM has officially announced the launch of its weekly wrestling show, titled Ground Zero, set to premiere on December 27, 2025. This new program will be available globally on YouTube, marking a significant step in WXM’s commitment to expand the reach of professional wrestling in India.

WXM first gained attention earlier this year with its debut event, Powerbomb, which drew over 4,000 fans in Mumbai as part of ‘The Waves Summit’, an event organized by India’s Ministry of Information & Broadcasting. Ground Zero aims to showcase a unique blend of fast-paced, hard-hitting professional wrestling, featuring both local talent and recognizable names from the international wrestling circuit.

Highlighting Local and Global Talent

The roster for Ground Zero includes a mix of homegrown Indian wrestlers and established stars known to WWE fans. Notable signings include Raj ‘The Maharaja’ (formerly known as Jinder Mahal), Samuray Del Sol (previously Kalisto in WWE), Dijak, and Axel Tischer (known as Alexander Wolfe). The signing of Raj during Powerbomb has been viewed as a crucial moment for WXM, signaling the promotion’s intent to become a prominent player in the wrestling industry.

WXM’s Chief Operating Officer, Jeet (Rama), expressed his enthusiasm for the new platform, stating, “Indian wrestlers have waited too long for a real opportunity, and WXM is giving them exactly that.” He emphasized that WXM is committed to providing world-class training and a competitive platform that allows local talent to prove themselves on an international stage.

Anticipation and Production Quality

The announcement of Ground Zero has generated significant excitement among wrestling fans, as indicated by the positive feedback from audiences and the vibrant energy displayed during live events. WXM’s CEO, Rishi, noted the enthusiasm on social media and in the arenas, emphasizing that “India is ready to bring its new revolution in the field of wrestling.”

The promotion aims to maintain high production values, as evidenced by the strong atmosphere at previous events. WXM intends to deliver a product that resonates with fans, ensuring that Ground Zero stands the test of time.

Mark Dallas, founder of Insane Championship Wrestling (ICW) and a well-respected figure in the wrestling community, is also involved with WXM. His experience in turning ICW into a globally recognized brand adds a layer of credibility to WXM’s ambitions.

Ground Zero’s first episode will be available on WXM’s official YouTube channel on December 27, 2025, and fans are eagerly awaiting the trailer that showcases what they can expect from this exciting new venture in professional wrestling.
