Metrolink, the regional rail agency serving Southern California, has announced the introduction of a special holiday day pass priced at $10. This offer provides unlimited rides across the region on both Christmas and New Year’s Day, making it easier for residents and visitors to explore Southern California during the festive season.
The SoCal Day Pass allows passengers to travel freely on Metrolink’s extensive 545-mile rail network, which spans six counties. This includes access to the Arrow service, connecting San Bernardino and Redlands. On these two holidays, Metrolink will operate a weekend schedule, except for the Riverside Line, which remains closed on weekends and select holidays.
Passengers can purchase the SoCal Day Pass on the day of travel through the Metrolink mobile app or at ticket machines located at any station. This year, there will be no special early morning services offered, differing from previous holiday schedules.
