LLVision has announced the debut of the Leion Hey2, the first purpose-built AI-powered augmented reality (AR) translation glasses, during CES 2026. The unveiling will take place at the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC), Central Hall, Booth 15453, and signifies a significant advancement in LLVision’s strategy to penetrate the U.S. consumer market. This innovative product aims to enhance real-time communication by enabling seamless translation across languages through AR technology.
The Leion Hey2 is specifically designed for live, real-world translation instead of traditional AR applications focused on entertainment or display. With over a decade of experience in delivering enterprise-grade AR solutions, LLVision has created a product that embodies its vision for effective cross-language communication. The company, founded in 2014, has developed integrated AR and AI software and hardware solutions for various practical applications.
LLVision’s technology is built on a robust foundation that includes self-developed optical modules, advanced array light waveguide technology, metasurface lithography, and an AI Agent platform. To date, the company boasts a substantial global intellectual property portfolio, featuring more than 80 invention patents and over 270 AR-related patents worldwide.
The international launch of the Leion Hey2 has already generated considerable interest, with over 10,000 pre-orders placed within just two hours. Following this success, LLVision completed the industry’s first live field trial with a 100-person audience, where CEO Dr. Wu Fei delivered a two-hour presentation entirely through the glasses. This demonstration confirmed the product’s stability and performance in demanding, real-world conditions.
The original Leion Hey glasses have already shipped more than 30,000 units globally, with users averaging around 150 minutes of daily usage. LLVision’s impact extends beyond sales, as the company has garnered international acclaim, receiving over 180 industry awards for its innovations, including the prestigious iF Design Award. The first-generation Leion Hey was also recognized as one of UNESCO’s Top 10 Global Innovations and featured in notable publications such as Fortune’s Best Designs and Harvard Business Review’s The Year in Tech.
In December 2025, LLVision’s collaborative research project titled “AR Smart Glasses Empowering the Hearing-Impaired,” conducted with Professor Li Ting from the Rotterdam School of Management, Tsinghua SEM, received the AIS Impact Award from the Association for Information Systems. This award highlights the significant social impact of LLVision’s AR glasses.
At CES 2026, attendees can expect live demonstrations of the Leion Hey2, showcasing how AR and AI technologies are transforming real-time communication across languages. As LLVision positions itself at the forefront of AR innovation, the Leion Hey2 promises to redefine how people interact in a globalized world.
