BREAKING: Alleged gang hitman Tyvine Jones, 25, has been arrested in Delaware County for his suspected involvement in three murders between 2020 and 2022. Captured by the US Marshals Service on Wednesday, Jones is linked to the deaths of victims aged 16, 20, and 23, all resulting from gun violence.

Authorities acted swiftly on an anonymous tip leading them to the Stratford Court Apartments, where Jones was hiding. He had been one of Philadelphia’s “Most Wanted” fugitives until his arrest, according to Eric Gartner, US Marshal for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

“His disregard for human life poses a continued threat to the public,” Gartner stated, emphasizing the urgency of Jones’s capture. The three murders occurred in August 2020, May 2022, and September 2022, with all victims succumbing to gunshot wounds.

Jones is allegedly affiliated with the Blumberg gang, which has a notorious reputation in the area. His arrest highlights the ongoing efforts of law enforcement to tackle violent crime in Philadelphia. “Together with our partners, our commitment to the citizens of Philadelphia remains steadfast: the relentless pursuit of violent fugitives,” Gartner added.

The US Marshals, in cooperation with Pennsylvania Attorney General agents and Philadelphia homicide detectives, surrounded the apartment complex and apprehended Jones without incident. He is now in custody and being processed by the Philadelphia Homicide Detective Division.

This arrest is a significant step in addressing gang violence and ensuring community safety. As investigations continue, authorities urge residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity.
